Since my introduction to music software back in 2005 („FL STUDIO“ was still called „Fruity Loops“ then) I’ve been studying how to make music digitally by experimenting and chopping up loops and samples with the new possibilities of software programs like FL Studio, Cubase or SEQUEL by playing melodies on my keyboard, re-arranging patterns in the user interfaces, editing and manipulating sounds and pitches and learning how to build and sequence drum rhythms and song structures. Digital production was becoming a thing for bedroom producers.
What a great feeling and journey it was and still is to create something musically that ends up being a simple beat or complex song others can listen to.
Under my moniker and brand „DVL MUSIC“ I have gathered 20 of my latest beat productions in a collection called „20 | 20“ to showcase different beats of my recent efforts in 2020 producing modern Hip Hop. Boombap and Trap instrumentals.
